New issue of magazine crowns Luisa with “Bag of the Month” honour

(TORONTO) -  The June 2010 issue of Chatelaine magazine pays special tribute to the highly popular Roots Luisa Bag, featuring as its Bag of the Month.

In its Style section, under the headline, The Carryall Urban Explorer, the magazine spotlights the Luisa with a beautiful large colour photo. It explains how the double vegetable-tanned leather straps can be worn in two ways and that the bag’s aqua shade of Rustler leather is as versatile as denim. It also features a Luisa Bag as the main prize in Chatelaine’s “Your Say” contest.

The Luisa Bag, which is made at the Roots state-of-the-art factory in Toronto, first hit the stores in April. Since then, it’s proven one of the season’s most popular leather bags for women.

Covering a variety of women’s interests including fashion, décor, current affairs, health and beauty, Chatelaine is one of Canada’s most successful, well established magazines. Established in 1928, it currently has a total readership of more than 3.5 million every issue.

The spotlight on the Luisa Bag in Chatelaine is the result of excellent work by Laura Simpson, of Empire Public Relations, who works regularly with Roots in connection with the fashion media.
